Introduction

Swain Resort is offering a few services priced at exceptional values.

• Vouchers: Booklets of 4/6/8 vouchers valid for (all day)/twilight (3P.M. - close) passes for use on any day with/without rentals for as little as  $109. Passes from the vouchers may be distributed among several individuals.

• Club Program: The Learn to Ski/Board seasonal program allows participants access to the slopes from 9:00A.M. – 9:00P.M. on Thursdays (weather and mountain conditions  permitting) throughout the season for only $179; a typical season consists of 15 (downhill skiing)/snowboarding opportunities between early December and mid-April amortizes to less than $12 per visit! The base fee is waived for participants younger than 8 years old on December 1st (they may access the slopes for free) with the participation of an adult; however, the normal rental fee is still assessed, if applicable. The program includes a pass that authorizes access to all chair lifts and a 1-hour (downhill skiing)/snowboarding group lesson at 12:00P.M. for the first 8 consecutive weeks (that the mountain is accessible for (downhill skiing)/snowboarding) in January and February offered by personnel trained to instruct (downhill skiing)/snowboarding by Swain; make-up lessons will extend only into February. A picture ID is issued to each registrant of the Learn to Ski/Board program, making it an individual program. Guardians may also participate in the program by registering for novice lessons!

• The Learn to Ski/Board 1-Day Trial program: This trial program is identical to the Learn to Ski/Board seasonal program except that rentals are included! After experiencing the trial program, registrants may opt to register for the seasonal program; the fee for this trial program (only $35) will be applied toward the fee of the seasonal program. Participants may only register for this program once per season; registration must be completed at the ticket window at the time of purchase.

Requirements

Participants may be public/private/home schooled students at least 5 years old for downhill skiers and at least 8 years old for snowboarders; in addition, adults may also participate.

Registration/Purchase Process

The registration process was new as of winter 2022-2023; the registration and payment is completely on Swain's School Club website! To register for either/both of the Learn to Ski/Board programs and/or purchase vouchers, do the following.

1. Purchase the Thursday Ski/Board Club Option: For those participating in the Thursday Learn to Ski/Board seasonal program, select the Become a Pass Holder button corresponding to the Ski text label; a new window will open. Then, select the Buy Now button; a new window will open. Then, select the ADD TO CART button corresponding to the Homeschoolers Only Season Pass icon once for each participant; the "Checkout Cart" will automatically update. Registrants will be required to create a new account (as of the 2022-2023 season) or login to an existing account (after the 2022-2023 season). Refer to he following screenshots (which assumes the registrant does not login to the account until prompted): Purchasing Image #1-A, Purchasing Image #1-B, Purchasing Image #2-A, Purchasing Image #2-B, and Purchasing Image #3. At checkout, participants (or a guardian of a minor) will be prompted to sign a waiver. Note: Participants may (or may not) be a member of any Homeschool group. 

2. Purchase the Vouchers: For those purchasing vouchers (Anytime Lift Ticket Packs), select the Shop Now button under the Anytime Lift Ticket Packs text label; a new window will open. Select the Add to Cart button corresponding to the desired product once for each "pack" desired; the "Checkout Cart" will automatically update. The process to purchase vouchers is similar to the aforementioned process to purchase "Purchase the Thursday Ski/Board Club Option".
