Introduction
Does your middle/high school aged child (boy or girl) between the ages of 14 and 17, inclusive, love playing flag football (a 5-person non-contact version of football)? Are you or your child scheduled such that an activity once-per-week is optimal? If so, you may be interested in Flag Football of Rochester.
Flag Football of Rochester is an instructional and a competitive league for novice and experienced players. Flag football is a sport that combines the excitement of football without the associated trauma of contact. All games will be preceded by a 30 – 45 minute practice with the coach followed by a 75 – 120 minute game.
Flag Football of Rochester optimizes playing time at a minimal cost: the participation fee is $25 (per player) with a league fee of $25.00/$20.00/$10.00 (per family) with teams capped at 10 players per team. As a point of reference, the YMCA Flag Football league costs $122 per participant (not including the yearly membership dues) for a 40-minute game and a 10-minute practice with a 10-player team.

to be eligible to play Flag Football of Rochester in the 2020 season. The Flag Football of Rochester contains one division: The Family Division.
Fall: Meetings are scheduled on 11 consecutive Mondays between 8/15 and 10/24, inclusive, from 6:00P.M. until sundown (7:58P.M. – 8:54P.M.) at Softball Field #2 near the Circle Shelter in Ellison Park in Rochester for the first half of the season; due to the earlier sunset as the season progresses, meetings will be scheduled to begin 15 minutes earlier (not to precede 4:30P.M.) than the previous week starting the fifth week of the season.
Spring: Meetings (the combine or a practice followed by a game) are scheduled from 6:00P.M. until sundown (7:56P.M. – 8:53P.M.) at Softball Field #2 near the Circle Shelter in Ellison Park in Rochester on the 11 consecutive Mondays between 4/21 and 6/30, inclusive. In addition, an optional Invitational Game is scheduled on Monday July 7th.
