This video, prepared by a H.I.S. Soccer participant and aspiring videographer (Evelyn Brutovski), is a great representation of the fun, instructive, and friendly-competitive experience that H.I.S. Soccer participants can expect.

Note:
-
This organization has formerly met in a Macedon park and has since been renamed; hence the discrepancy with the bank account name. Regardless, please make payment to H.I.S. Soccer of Macedon.

To facilitate the registration process, please consider completing the on-line registration form.
Attendance Poll
A parent/guardian is required to complete a weekly attendance poll via a bookmarked entry (after an initial entry) by the deadline. The initial entry for each family-participant must be bookmarked; the entry for each family-participant must be updated using the bookmark each week. This screenshot illustrates and this 75-second video demonstrates the simple process required to bookmark a Google form entry; the attendance poll is a Google form.

Changes
Changes to this 2023 Season
The following changes will be implemented for this 2023 season:
-
A parent/guardian is required to complete a weekly attendance poll via a bookmarked entry (after an initial entry) by the deadline. The initial entry for each family-participant must be bookmarked; the entry for each family-participant must be updated using the bookmark each week. Two videos and a screenshot are available to instruct users to complete the attendance poll; a parents/guardian that is unable/unwilling to use the technology appropriately to log their participating child(ren)'s attendance each week should refrain from registering for H.I.S. Soccer.
Changes Before the 2023 Seasons
The following changes were implemented prior to the 2023 seasons:
-
Name Change: The name of this organization is now H.I.S. Soccer due to the aforementioned venue change. However, payments via check or money order must still be made payable to H.I.S. Soccer of Macedon because the bank account name has not changed.
-
League Fee Waived *ONLY* for Head Coaches: A League Fee exists to offset the additional cost of field rental in Perinton (as opposed to Macedon): over 1,250% since 2016. However, due to the dependence of the success of H.I.S. Soccer upon head coaches, the League Fee will only be waived for any registrant that volunteers to serve as a head coach.
-
Head Coaches Needed: Coaching is such a critical need that head coaches' kids potentially play for free (registration fee refunded at the end of the season) in addition to the waiving of the League Fee in order to incentivize volunteer head coaches in divisions that are not fully staffed! Any mom or dad is fully qualified; a responsible parent simply needs to read a prepared devotion, provide equal playing time to players, and augment the kids' soccer experience. A Coaches' Manual contains soccer drills, the devotions, the basic rules, and many other resources are available. This league does not need professional soccer coaches with collegiate experience; instead, the league needs moms and dads willing to step up to serve our kids! Furthermore, leadership should start with families that have participated in the league in prior years! In the past, a glut of registrants will volunteer to be an assistant or substitute coach; however, young team players need the consistency of a full-time head coach to establish a rapport and develop soccer skills. Please consider serving the youth of H.I.S. Soccer.
-
Head Coach Benefit: Head coaches are needed. Since this organization is not a "feeder system" into the U.S. Men's/Women's National Soccer Team, loving, patient, and God-fearing regular moms and dads are needed most; experience/expertise is only a perk. Each head coach is supplied with a Coach’s Manual that provides, in part, devotions for each meeting, a target skill to develop with suggested drills for each meeting, and an abbreviated soccer rule book. In addition, this website will contain coaching tips and hyperlinks to coaching soccer videos. Also, upon request and availability, advanced players from the oldest division will facilitate with drills in the first 20 minutes of each meeting. Registrants will receive a full-refund at the end of the season for each child coached full time by a guardian if and only if coaches satisfy weekly requirements:
- reply to communications from the Commissioner of H.I.S. Soccer within 24 hours during the season and within 3 days a month before the season,
- check in with the Commissioner of H.I.S. Soccer between 10 and 15 minutes, inclusive, before the meeting at the pavilion,
- record goals/assists accurately and in real-time on a statistician sheet provided, and
- inform the Commissioner of H.I.S. Soccer of expected absences with at least 48 hours notice and unexpected absences in a timely manner.
- Head Coach's Choice: Head coaches may select a particular child to coach; the commissioner honors the vast majority of requests. However, the commissioner reserves the right (upon notification) to reassign a head coach to one of his/her other children’s team in order to fully staff all of the league’s head coaching positions.
- Head Coaches Chosen by the Commissioner: After the registration deadline, the Commissioner of H.I.S. Soccer will select the head coaches. Head coaching volunteers not chosen will be migrated to serve as a substitute coach in order to still serve the H.I.S. Soccer community and benefit from the waiving of the League Fee.
- Substitute Coach: A new position (as of 2018) has been created: the substitute coach. A substitute coach will be required to volunteer to serve in at least two age divisions (of his/her choosing) at most thrice per season! Every effort will be made to schedule a substitute coach on the same field as their child. Substitute coaching is a fantastic manner to experience coaching with limited commitment in order to evaluation possibly head coaching next season! :)
- Venue Change: Due to the business-friendly communications and policies, Center Park in Perinton is the new home for H.I.S. Soccer! Since Perinton is closer to two-thirds of participants, this change should generally be welcomed. And, frankly, the facilities and fields are nicer, too!
- Attendance Poll: A parent/guardian may be required by the head coach to complete a weekly attendance poll via a bookmarked entry (after an initial entry) by the deadline. Soccer.
- Payment Method: Check or money order are the only acceptable payment methods. Do not use PayPal.
