Introduction

HIS Baseball is back at the same great location and same day but new time: the morning to facilitate participation! For the second year in a row, HIS Baseball is in a more convenient location (Kreag Road Park in Perinton - 9 miles closer to the city of Rochester than Bullis Park in Macedon) on a Saturday (to give parents a night to relax after a long work-week) but at a new time (10:00A.M. - 12:00P.M. - to give families the afternoon together) for the 10 week season (4/29 - 7/1). And, the best part, the registration fee is only $10! So you see, everything is better!

Requirements

LEAH home-schooled students and parents (moms, dads, and children that have graduated from high school) at least 5 years old are eligible to participate (play) in the Baseball of Perinton league.

Description

Baseball of Perinton is:

• a coeducational league with four age divisions: 5-6, 7-9, 10-13, and over-13 years old.

• an instructional and a competitive league for novice and experienced players.

• an opportunity for potentially many children of one family to engage in a sporting activity at the same time.

• an opportunity for Christian home-schooled children to engage in a sporting activity together and an opportunity for Christian families, in general, to fellowship in a God-centered environment.

Registration Fee

The registration fee is comprised of

• a Participation Fee of $10.00 per participant (includes 1 team T-shirt).

• ​a League Fee of $50.00 for 3 or more participating players or $40.00 for only 2 participating players or $25.00 for only 1 participating player applied per registration (family).

• a Processing Fee of $5.00 per registration (per family).

• a Processing Fee Waiver of the Processing Fee (subtract $5.00) if and only if the registrant registers on-line.

• a League Fee Waiver of the League Fee if and only if one parental/guardian adult indicates on the registration form to serve as a head coach for the league in a division that is not fully staffed and subsequently dutifully fulfills the corresponding job responsibilities.

• a Late Registration of either $25.00 for 2 or more participating players or $20.00 for only 1 participating player per registration (per family). Late registrations will be accepted at the discretion of the registrar.

 

Refund

The league fee will be fully refunded to any family with a parent/guardian that fulfills the coaching requirement:

• is a godly example, 

• arrives on the field by 9:50AM each and every meeting in attendance,

• actively manages team activities until the conclusion of each and every meeting in attendance, and

• attends at least 70% of the scheduled meetings.

Registration Process

To register for Baseball of Perinton,

1. complete the on-line registration form (ideally) or either e-mail the completed paper registration form in Microsoft Word format (observe, this form should not be printed but only e-mailed) or mail via U.S. Postal Service the completed paper registration form in PDF format (observe, this form should be printed but not e-mailed) and

2. remit payment using a check or money order payable to H.I.S. Soccer of Macedon

by Friday April 14th of 2023. Payment must be remitted and, if applicable, a printed paper registration form must be submitted to the registrar of Baseball of Perinton via U.S. Postal Service at

• This organization has formed very recently and an appropriately named bank account has not been created yet. This season, use the HIS Soccer bank account (that formerly met in Macedon).

Attendance Poll

A parent/guardian is required to complete a weekly attendance poll via a bookmarked entry (after an initial entry) by the deadline. Refer to detailed instructions in the "Attendance" nugget on this webpage (below).
